Created for the NOW Gallery in collaboration with artist Coco Lom, Walk + Awe invited participants to slow down and notice what’s around them. As part of the Finding Awe series, the session began with a guided awe walk through Greenwich Peninsula — drawing, photographing and collecting fragments of colour, shape and texture from the city’s surfaces.
Back at the gallery, participants used their findings to create personal collage works in handmade books, with prompts focused on emotion, repetition and visual play. With paper offcuts from G . F Smith, this workshop was a celebration of slowing down and noticing what’s around you.
