“Working with Louisa Tan has been a joyful journey. Her approach is led by honesty, collaboration, and a strong commitment to her personal practice. During the workshop, her presence created a soothing and relaxing atmosphere, fostering joy, creativity, and meaningful engagement. She nurtured a space where participants felt safe to connect deeply with their surroundings and their feelings and perceptions of safety, expressing themselves through art and hands-on creative approaches.” Gaia Crocella, Publica
Held in and around Smithfield Market in the City of London, Out After Dark invited a wide range of participants to reflect on how the area feels after dark — and how it could feel different. Hosted in collaboration with Publica, the workshop combined hands-on collage with open discussion to explore safety, perception and possibility in public space. This creative session opened up honest conversations about how we experience — and imagine the future of — the city at night.
