A limited-edition collage series by Louisa Tan exploring what we discard and celebrating the ephemeral beauty of the street.

Cutting Edge is a limited-edition collection of 40 original collages by Louisa Tan. Rooted in place, movement and transformation, each piece explores what we choose to keep and what we leave behind.

The collection is released in four timed drops, with ten works available for two weeks at a time. This evolving structure reflects the heart of Cutting Edge — a celebration of impermanence, transformation, and the fleeting beauty of everyday streets.

After two weeks, any unsold pieces are cut up and reworked into a second series — a bold act of renewal that continues the story of what’s overlooked and reimagined.

Cutting Edge is a living collection shaped by change, inviting us to find creative potential in what’s fleeting, fragmented and often forgotten.

Louisa and Coco Lom immersed us in music while we drew with our eyes closed. Listening to the beat without thinking completely shifted my mindset, dissolving tension and clearing away distracting thoughts. It was a transformative experience, where letting go of control and simply tuning into the music rhythm led to a more intuitive and authentic creativity.

The Negativity into Creativity workshop got me hooked. After the event, I had to meet Louisa. From the session, I had loads of clarity on personal ideas. Insights included: Have grace for yourself. Be patient with progress. 80% perfect is perfect enough. People come to you because of how you make them feel. Stay on your brand: if you are not walking the walk, how can you teach it? Stay creative, stay joyful.
